First Aid Discussions in Nova Scotia
July 24 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Safety Branch will be hosting sessions to speak to Nova Scotian employers and employees about recent changes to CSA first aid standards and how we may respond. Our need to respond has been initiated by commitments made nationally and locally to better align our regulations and standards with other provinces. We also hope to hear about other opportunities to improve first aid. We will be hosting sessions around the province to gather feedback and insights to inform any changes to the First Aid Regulations this fall. We want to provide the best opportunity to hear from Nova Scotians.
During these sessions we will provide information about the components of the new standards that are being considered for potential adoption. We will gather your feedback and insights and use them to inform possible changes in the fall of 2019.
We hope you will be able to join us and participate in these first aid conversations around Nova Scotia.
